The role:
As a Manager in Training on the Sunshine Coast, you will work under the guidance of an experienced store leadership team to gain the practical experience and skills needed to prepare you for a leadership position in our retail network and that will allow you to successfully lead your own team of store team members.
This plan is a 2‑week comprehensive program that combines theoretical, practical and hands‑on, on‑the‑job training, to ensure you will have the necessary tools to begin a successful management career with City Beach. This position is designed for you to step into a higher management position in any of our three Sunshine Coast stores
What you'll be doing:
* Providing a superior people experience through a supportive and developmentally focused environment in our stores.
* Working with store leadership and leading the store team to deliver on performance objectives with respect to the KSIs (Sales, People, Audit & Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages, Safety).
* Ensuring that operational tasks and expectations set for your team are executed to standards.
* Supporting the leadership team with team‑member performance and ensuring our stores are open and ready to be shopped by our customers.
* Working with your store leadership to manage wages to achieve profitability, operational efficiencies, and great customer experiences.
* Demonstrating effective leadership, ensuring that all store team members receive the required feedback, support, and training.
