About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaged HSEQ Administrator to join our team on a 12‐month fixed‐term maternity leave cover at our Thornton facility. In this role, you will support the development, documentation, and implementation of the Engenco HSEQ Management System, ensuring alignment with business requirements. You will be responsible for producing data and reports to monitor the performance of the HSEQ and Rail Management System against established indicators, while also assisting in ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation across WHS, Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and Rail Safety.
Responsibilities
* Setting and maintaining controls including documentation processes.
* Assist in identifying relevant HSEQ related training needs and delivering training, including toolbox talks.
* Maintain Audit Schedules, along with various non conformance registers.
* Writing process and management systems reports.
* Assist in the development of tender documentation and enquiries.
* Assist in developing and revising HSEQ documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and business requirements.
* Regular review of relevant legislative documentation, including Rail and Safety Acts and Regulations, to keep abreast of changes.
* Follow up and implement any corrective actions as required.
* Identifying areas for process improvement and providing recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a HSEQ team, in an Engineering, Rail, or similar industry.
* Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of HSEQ management systems.
* Excellent document development and report writing skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Excellent skills in use of Microsoft program suite.
