JMA are seeking a Graduate of Architecture or Registered Architect with 10+ years of local experience, and proficiency in Vectorworks. The role will encompass all aspects of project delivery, from Conceptual Design, Construction Documentation, liaison with clients, consultants and builders through to attendance on site during construction.
The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, capable of independently running projects from early stages through to completion.
* Remote and Hybrid Working Arrangements
* Working in a light filled office which is a 5 minute walk from Central Station
* Indoor Bike Parking (and easy connection to bike lanes)
Prerequisites:
* Relevant Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture
* at least 10 years of local architectural experience.
Skills and Experience:
* 10 Years Local Experience working on single dwelling projects (renovation and new build)
* Experience with Local DA, CDC, CC applications for single dwellings projects (renovation and new build)
* Experience using the NSW Planning Portal
* Proficient Construction Detailing ability
* Proven Design Skills
* Excellent knowledge of Vectorworks
* Excellent knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards
* Demonstrated excellent managing Client & Consultant relationships
* Extensive experience coordinating projects, from inception through to completion
* Able to mentor junior staff and manage project teams
