Job Overview
* This Integration & API Engineer will collaborate with enterprise clients to deliver scalable, secure and intelligent integrations using AWS cloud services.
* The candidate will lead technical workshops with clients to understand business and integration requirements, and work closely with them to achieve project goals.
* They will design and configure API-driven workflows and integrations into the platform, leveraging their expertise in JSON, HTML, Python, and proprietary configuration tools.
* A strong understanding of AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch) is required to support integration and deployment activities.
* The successful candidate will create clean, scalable REST API designs, perform testing with tools like Postman, and troubleshoot defects across test and production environments.
* They will also produce release notes, documentation and technical configuration stories, provide estimation for configuration work and contribute to delivery planning, and lead resolution of support tickets within production environments.
* In addition, they will present new features and configuration progress to clients during sprint showcase sessions, demonstrating their excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in client-facing technical roles.
* Strong experience configuring or developing platforms, APIs or integrations.
* Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
* Confident working with JSON, Python, HTML, and API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
