About the opportunity
We are excited to create a new opportunity for Head of Finance to join our team, partnering with our retail & corporate functions. This pivotal role leads financial strategy and performance across key business functions, directly influencing Australia Post's transformation and growth. As a senior finance leader, you'll partner with executive teams to drive enterprise-wide reform, sustainability, and innovation. It's a unique opportunity to shape the future of an iconic organisation while delivering impact at scale.
What you'll deliver with us
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO), the Head of Finance for Retail, Brand & Marketing, Enterprise Services, and Corporate works in close partnership with EGMs and leadership teams across these functions to drive the successful delivery of Australia Post's Corporate Plan and strategic objectives.
You'll also
* Lead the financial forecasting and budgeting processes for the Retail, Brand & Marketing, Enterprise Services, and Corporate business units, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of the Corporate Plan and reporting.
* Partner with the GM, Retail Product & Supply Chain, to ensure retail products remain profitable and compliant with ACCC Record Keeping Rules.
* Collaborate with the GM, Retail Operations, to support the profitability of the Post Office Network (PON) and Licensed Post Offices (LPOs), while ensuring robust governance over all franchisee payments.
* Identify and drive opportunities to streamline operations and achieve cost reduction targets across Retail, Brand & Marketing, Enterprise Services, and Corporate functions.
* Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure the annual marketing investment delivers measurable ROI and is supported by effective reporting frameworks.
About you
You are an experience finance leader who has worked across large and complex organisations with multi product revenue streams
You'll also
* Come with experience in influencing management at all levels within a complex environment
* Experience in partnering with complex third parties to deliver value
* Have an ability to navigate through period of rapid and large-scale change as business transitions from a monopoly-based letters business to a highly competitive, rapid growing parcels business.
* Experience in developing an leading a high performing team
* Degree qualified with majors in finance and accounting and deep commercial acumen, preferably MBA educated.
* CPA / CA ANZ qualified and registered.
* Expertise in the full range of finance, accounting, risk and compliance practices, regulation, and compliance requirements in accordance with the ATO, ASIC and other legislative or regulatory bodies.
