Barragunda Dining is a 40 seat farm-to-table restaurant set in the countryside of the Mornington Peninsula, sitting on 1000 acres of land & surrounded by our large orchard, vegetable garden, Black Angus beef & Willtipol lamb. We cook with the seasons, work closely with local producers, and value hospitality that feels thoughtful, generous, and human.
We're looking for a front of house team member who genuinely enjoys looking after people and understands that great service is as much about awareness and timing as it is about warmth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be part of a small, hands-on team delivering a dining experience that is calm, considered, and personal. This is a role for someone who enjoys reading the room, working collaboratively, and taking pride in the details.
ABOUT YOU
* You have previous FOH experience in a restaurant setting
* You're confident with guests; attentive, grounded, and intuitive
* You care about food, wine, and where things come from (or are curious to learn)
* WSET 2 or more preferred but not essential
* You work well in a small team and take initiative when needed
* You're reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
