The Role


This position will be responsible for coordinating projects within the company and plays an essential part in successful project delivery. The Project Coordinator liaises between Ecocene and its clients to ensure that services are constantly provided to the highest quality.

Reporting to the Natural Capital and Ecosystem Restoration (NCER) Manager, your required tasks will include:

* Assist with the coordination of multiple projects and undertake related supporting activities such as scheduling and logistical requirements and other tasks as directed
* Work with Project Leaders and/or Senior Project Coordinators to ensure all project related deliverables and processes are implemented
* Undertake review of maps and reports, and provide support to desktop investigations and reporting, or other functions of the team as required
* Assist team members with the pre-mobilisation preparation for field programs including assistance with compliance to health and safety systems to ensure successful field execution and demobilisation
* Work with management and clients to identify and manage project risks and issues

The successful candidate will play a key role within the NCER team.

The position is full-time, and Perth based.


Skills and Experience


The following criteria are essential to be considered for this role:

* Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Natural Resource Management, Biological and/or Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology or similar
* Strong interpersonal skills (experience in customer service will be looked upon favourably)
* Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills, combined with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and with excellent time management skills
* Strong scientific and business writing skills
* Good team working skills
* A strong focus on health and safety
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination or administration

The following criteria are desirable:

* Field experience in undertaking environmental projects or similar scopes
* A good understanding of standard HSE systems and processes used in the resources sector
