About the Role
The 54 Reasons Bail Support Service is dedicated to addressing the underlying reasons behind young people being remanded in custody. Our holistic approach addresses risk factors contributing to a young person's involvement in the youth justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive high-quality planning and implementation of Bail Support programs.
* Coach, train, and develop colleagues to enhance skill and competency for superior service delivery.
* Maintain operational stakeholder relationships critical to program success.
* Coordinate staff caseloads and program logistics, monitoring, evaluation, risk management, and child protection.
* Maintain a caseload of clients.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Skills, knowledge, understanding, and experience working with culturally diverse young people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
* Leadership experience and skills; mentoring and coaching colleagues without direct reports.
* Experience using trauma-informed practice.
* Able to build relationships, liaise, and plan with program stakeholders and community members.
* Strong communication skills and report writing experience.
