**As the Accounts Payable Officer, your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**:
- Assist the Accounts Payable team to manage the AP inbox and phone enquiries in a timely manner.
- Responsible for general ledger invoice coding - ensuring correct entity, department and coding of invoices.
- Daily payment allocation - prepare payment files for approval.
- Completing credit card reconciliations and expense claim reimbursements.
- Support with end of month functions.
- Handle enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and report on discrepancies.
- Suggest and participate in developing enhancements/improvements to procedures.
**To be successful in this role, the following skills are required**:
- Demonstrated experience in end to end Accounts Payable function.
- Qualifications within Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Demonstrated experience with NetSuite or similar ERP will be highly regarded;
- Experience within the Construction Industry, desirable;
- A level of proficiency and demonstrated experience using MS Office suite of products, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.
