GTC Constructions (incorporating NT Sheds) is a locally owned and operated construction company delivering high-quality residential homes, commercial buildings, and shed construction projects across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our Darwin team, overseeing projects from award through to completion.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role managing multiple projects across residential and commercial sectors, including custom homes and steel shed builds.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end project management of residential and commercial builds
* Programming and scheduling of works
* Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Cost control, budgeting, and progress claims
* Procurement of materials and plant
* Monitoring site progress, quality, and compliance
* Ensuring WHS requirements and site documentation are maintained
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
* Managing variations, delays, and project risks
About You
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction (residential and/or commercial)
* Strong knowledge of building processes, trades, and sequencing
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Solid understanding of WHS and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience with shed construction highly regarded
* Proficient in project scheduling and reporting tools
* Relevant qualifications in Building & Construction (Cert IV or higher) preferred
