About the Role
If inclusive education energises you, this role offers a genuine chance to change lives. As a Trainer and Assessor in Work Education and Transition Education, you will guide young people with disabilities as they build life skills, explore future pathways, and grow confidence in everyday settings.
Your work will blend structure, creativity, and care. Each day brings variety, strong relationships, and visible progress as learners discover their strengths and possibilities across training, work, and community life.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated learning aligned to individual goals
* Create a safe, structured, and respectful learning environment
* Apply positive behaviour and trauma-informed approaches consistently
* Collaborate with support staff, allied health professionals, and families
* Promote social, emotional, and employability skill development
* Maintain clear records of progress, plans, and learner outcomes

About You:
You bring warmth, patience, and professionalism to your teaching practice and enjoy supporting young people as they develop independence and purpose.
Additionally, you will have
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/40116/40110 or equivalent)
* A relevant tertiary qualification aligned to Work or Transition Education
* Current industry experience with strong vocational knowledge
* Experience working with young people with additional learning needs

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $91.42 (teaching) and $62.14 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $95.01 (teaching) and $64.58 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $98.77 (teaching) and $67.10 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
