The Clinical Nurse Educator role in Renal Dialysis and Hospital Support presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical education initiatives, focusing on adult learning principles and diverse teaching strategies. This pivotal position requires effective communication and engagement with patients, consumers, carers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level, providing clinical supervision to support the development of evidence-based, person-centred nursing care. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and risk management initiatives, while upholding professional standards and codes of conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Competency-based assessment and education experience.
* Recent renal dialysis nursing experience and demonstrated teaching/CNE experience.
* Effective communication and engagement skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
* Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
