Most junior brokers fail because they're thrown in the deep end with no leads, no systems, and no real coaching.

This role is the opposite.

Construct Home Loans (CHL) — the in-house finance arm of a residential building group — is hiring one Junior Mortgage Broker to step into a high-support, high-expectation environment.

If you want to learn fast, write deals early, and build a serious broking career — read on.

If you want comfort, hand-holding, or a slow pace — this is not for you.

What We Provide (The Unfair Advantage)

* $1m+ per month in warm construction leads from building sales reps
* $1–2m per month in refinance enquiries from online channels
* Full admin and processing support (you focus on clients, not paperwork)
* Direct mentoring from a senior broker who has built and scaled finance teams
* Clear training structure and expectations — no guessing
* A documented pathway to senior broker status and higher splits

You will not be starved.

You will not be left alone.

You will be expected to perform.

Compensation (Clear and Fair)

* Base salary: $65,000–$75,000 + super
* Supplied leads: 10% of upfront commissions
* Self-generated business: 30% upfront initially, increasing as you progress
* OTE Year 1: $110k–$130k+ depending on performance

Top performers earn more by doing more — not by waiting.

Who This Is For


This role is ideal for:

* Someone with Cert IV in Mortgage Broking completed or actively underway (essential)
* Someone early in their broking career who wants real volume and real training
* Someone already in industry who is under-supported and under-utilised
* Someone who learns quickly, takes feedback well, and executes without excuses

We care far more about speed of learning and ownership than years of experience.

What You'll Actually Do

* Convert warm inbound leads (construction and refinance)
* Conduct fact-finds and client strategy calls
* Learn how to structure deals properly — not just submit them
* Work with admin to package and lodge compliant applications
* Follow up clients and manage pipeline movement
* Gradually build your own referral sources (rewarded at higher splits)
