About the role
Join Bb Decking' as a full-time Carpenter based in Brisbane, QLD 4000. In this key role, you will be part of a team responsible for constructing and installing high-quality decking, fencing, retaining walls and other wood-based structures for residential and commercial clients. With a focus on excellence, attention to detail and exceptional workmanship, you will play a vital part in delivering the company's commitment to outstanding craftsmanship.
What you'll be doing
* Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials to build decking, fencing and other wood-based/material structures
* Installing decking, fencing and other wood-based/material structures in line with client requirements and industry best practices
* Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard
* Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient work practices
* Providing exceptional customer service and liaising with clients throughout projects
* Adhering to all health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Carpenter, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality work
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in workmanship
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Competent in the use of power tools and other carpentry equipment
* Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety requirements
