Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the challenging role of Park Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our parks, ensuring that they remain safe and enjoyable for visitors while also protecting and preserving the natural environment.
The ideal candidate will have senior experience in park operations, including management of staff, budgeting, and resource allocation. Strong leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build effective relationships with community groups, tour operators, and other external partners.
As part of this role, you will be working closely with local Aboriginal communities to develop and implement conservation programs that benefit both people and the environment. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas of mutual interest and developing strategies to address complex environmental issues.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to colleagues, community members, and other stakeholders.

Applicants must be willing to undergo a National Police Check prior to employment. A current class C driver's licence and willingness to safely operate a 4WD are essential. Intra or interstate travel is required, including extended periods of time away from home and travel in light aircraft.
