This role offers a unique insight into the Australian education sector, working across both domestic and international education cohorts. The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) supports the international and domestic education systems, providing placement and refund/re-credit support to students affected by an education provider not commencing or ceasing to deliver their course of study. You will manage various funds, including the Overseas Students Tuition Fund, Higher Education Tuition Protection Fund, and VSL Tuition Protection Fund, collecting annual TPS levies as required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide strategic planning, high-level policy advice, program management, and delivery - Maintain a sound working knowledge of relevant legislative, policy, and procedural frameworks - Communicate technical information effectively, providing regular program reporting and ministerial briefs - Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels - Foster a performance culture, supporting career development and coaching team members
