Radiology Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist to fill a full-time position in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The successful candidate will have expertise in Interventional Radiology and be able to work collaboratively with our team of radiologists.
About the Position
This is a full-time role that involves performing a range of interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic neuroangiography and endovascular treatments for ischemic stroke. The typical weekly schedule involves 2–3 days of Interventional Radiology and 2–3 days of General Radiology, including MRI, CT, US, X-ray, biopsies, drainages, and fluoroscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostic neuroangiography and endovascular treatments for ischemic stroke
* Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and after-hours/on-call services
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
* RCPSC certification in Radiology (FRCPC)
* Eligibility for full licensure with CPSBC
* An Interventional Radiology fellowship or relevant experience in EVT and willingness to learn endovascular treatments for ischemic stroke
