Occupational Therapist Job Description
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering high quality, culturally appropriate and effective Weekend Occupational Therapy services within the Top End Health Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Weekend Occupational Therapy services in various settings including acute and sub-acute care, primary health care, aged care and mental health.
This is a part-time vacancy available for 0.2 (8 hrs) per weekend. The position requires the applicant to work within an extended hours service model which includes weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver high quality, culturally appropriate and effective Weekend Occupational Therapy services.
* To work within an extended hours service model which includes weekends.
* To maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
* To communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare teams.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related field.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
