Our client is an Australian based wine producer with its own vineyards in key wine regions. They also have long-term partnerships with growers both locally and overseas and their portfolio includes some fabulous imported spirits.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated leader in a National Sales Manager capacity to provide leadership, direction and guidance to the domestic sales team to ensure that it meets sales targets and strategic goals through development of current and existing relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the domestic sales team and distribution partnerships to deliver effective and efficient commercial outcomes across all brands
- Work with the Head of Marketing and General Manager to develop and implement customer and channel prioritisation plans; ensuring the delivery of customer focused initiatives and subsequent resource allocation
- Acquire and develop customer and industry relationships that will improve the awareness and influence of the business; drive the team to leverage relationships that deliver commercial outcomes
- Grow distribution in both on and off premise venues and GTR markets; ensuring product and brand relevance and excellence in execution standards
- With Key Account Managers, build relationships with retailer contacts across both on and off premise trade to maximise partnerships opportunities
- Partner with Sales team to identify HALO accounts in key cities and build plans to secure ranging and activity to grow brand awareness and maximise sales
- Review, evaluate and report on promotions with Marketing to ensure that compliance / execution and additional opportunities are being maximised.
With significant prior experience working within the drinks industry, you bring knowledge and team leadership expertise, building mutually beneficial business relationships, field management, strategic planning and implementing smooth seamless internal processes. You are commercially savvy and can manage P&Ls;, forecasts and budgets. Highly regarded are your leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills allowing you to identify, develop and implement key business initiatives.
