About Intrinsic Healthcare

Intrinsic Healthcare is one of Ballarat's leading allied health providers, delivering personalised, evidence-based care to a diverse and growing client base. For nearly eight years, we have built a strong reputation for clinical excellence, integrity, and outstanding patient outcomes.

Our continued growth is a direct reflection of the professional relationships we've developed within the Ballarat community. We receive consistent referrals from medical and allied health providers who trust our team to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

We pride ourselves on collaboration, continuous improvement, and creating a clinical environment that empowers both clients and practitioners to thrive.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team on a full or part-time contracting basis (employment arrangements will be considered for the right candidate).

This is a rare opportunity to become the first and sole Physiotherapist within our well-established multidisciplinary clinic. You will work alongside a respected team of exercise physiologists, chiropractors, myotherapists, and remedial massage therapists in a collaborative and referral-rich environment.

You will have the autonomy to shape and grow the physiotherapy arm of the practice while being fully supported by an experienced allied health team.

Your Role

You will play a key role in delivering high‐quality rehabilitation services and contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments in a private practice setting
* Develop and implement individualised, evidence‐based treatment plans
* Deliver physiotherapy interventions including exercise prescription, functional retraining, and manual therapy (manual therapy experience welcomed but not essential)
* Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
* Manage a varied caseload including private, EPC/Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, NDIS, and DVA clients
* Complete timely and professional clinical documentation and report writing
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic client care
* Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and regulatory standards
* You will have the capacity to manage up to 30 client‐facing hours per week on‐site, with the opportunity and support to provide off‐site services if flexible/preferred.

What We Offer

At Intrinsic Healthcare, we are deeply invested in the professional and personal growth of our practitioners.

We provide:

* Competitive contractor rates
* A consistent referral stream from established community networks
* A collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team
* Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
* A modern, high‐quality clinical environment that needs to be experienced to be believed
* Flexible working arrangements to support work‐life balance
* The opportunity to build and shape the physiotherapy service within a growing practice

This is more than a contracting role — it is an opportunity to establish yourself within a respected clinic and contribute meaningfully to a thriving healthcare community.

If you are an experienced Physiotherapist ready to step into a senior role with autonomy, support, and strong community referrals, we would love to hear from you.

Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role.

Essential Requirements

* Australian citizenship (required)
* Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
* Current General or Provisional AHPRA registration
* Current public liability and professional indemnity insurance
* Minimum 2–3 years of physiotherapy experience (required for this senior‐level position)

Preferred Experience & Attributes

* Experience in private practice or community health settings
* Strong clinical reasoning skills and a commitment to evidence‐based practice
* Ability to work independently and confidently as the sole Physiotherapist in the clinic
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and professional referral relationships
* A genuine passion for achieving meaningful rehabilitation outcomes
