Distribution Officer | HR and HC | Large Utilities Company
* Up to $60 p/h + super
* Contract until March 2027 with extensions

* Must have HC/HR, Forklift and C2 Crane Licneses
Primary Purpose of the Role:
Support warehouse and distribution operations through safe transport, handling, and delivery of materials. Ensure efficient logistics across central and field locations while maintaining safety and compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
* Operate Heavy Rigid vehicles and crane-equipped trucks for delivery and collection of materials
* Load, unload and transport goods safely using forklifts and lifting equipment
* Perform warehouse duties including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
* Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control activities
* Ensure all loads are secured in line with load restraint and transport regulations
* Work closely with logistics teams, depot staff, and contractors to meet delivery requirements
* Support quality control, inspection, and material handling processes
* Identify and contribute to process improvements across warehouse and distribution operations
* Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards at all times
Essential Requirements:
* Valid HR or HC driver’s licence with strong knowledge of heavy vehicle regulations
* Forklift licence, Dogman ticket, White Card, and C2 Crane ticket
* Experience operating heavy vehicles and handling materials in a warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines and transport compliance
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Basic computer skills for warehouse and inventory systems
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
Nice to Have:
* Dangerous Goods licence
* Experience with warehouse management systems
* Exposure to procurement or stock planning processes
* Traffic Controller certification
