Pitts Design & Construction Pty Ltd (PDC) is a commercial construction company providing industry‐leading building services and innovative construction solutions. PDC assists in the delivery of projects across retail, fuel, fast food, and childcare. PDC assists in designing the building and fit‐outs and will liaise directly with developers. Projects are then coordinated and PDC will arrange trade services to complete the works on a contracted basis.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of on‐site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget and to a high quality expected by the company, client and meeting all statutory requirements.

What You will Be Doing
* Managing the site team in relation to budget, resources, delivery, and issues
* Overseeing and manage the site team's professional development
* Leading and/or participating in site meetings
* Overseeing and managing all site based activities
* Developing short range programs to complete the project management schedule
* Coordinating with the Project team to ensure project delivery milestones are achieved
* Safety management
* Project completion activities as required
* Driving program, productivity, and site performance
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
* Ensuring compliance with HSE systems and maintaining a strong safety culture
* Managing site quality assurance and inspections
* Running weekly site meetings and coordinating trades
* Working closely with the project team to ensure smooth delivery outcomes.
The ideal applicant you will be
* Experienced in managing Design & Construct projects greater than $5m - $15m in value
* Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodology, basic project management principles, and site management
* Minimum 4-5 years of construction site management experience is required
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking abilities
* Effective team leadership and management skills
* Strong understanding of structure, services coordination, and finishing trades
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and drive site outcomes
* Strong leadership style with a hands‐on approach
* Excellent safety awareness and ability to lead by example
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience must be specifically in retail, fuel, fast food, and childcare construction sectors
