The Opportunity
An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an experienced Data Governance professional to drive best-practice data management across the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of contemporary data governance frameworks, influence enterprise-wide data strategy, and support a strong data-driven culture.
You will work collaboratively across the department to ensure data is managed effectively, shared responsibly and used to deliver valuable insights that inform decision-making and improve outcomes for the South Australian community.

Educational Qualifications/ Licences
* A relevant tertiary qualification in information or data management, data science, information technology or demonstrated equivalent experience in a related discipline, with additional qualifications in business, law or public policy is desirable.
Special Conditions
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months
Remuneration
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 pa + superannuation
