Job Description
Accounts Assistant role
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Accounts Assistant to join our team at NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. We are searching for an intelligent, friendly person with exceptional attention to detail to assist primarily with invoicing, reconciliation and accounts follow-up. Liaison with our staff and agencies such as the National Disability Insurance Agency, TAC, Worksafe and My Aged Care case management agencies and private clients is required.
The Accounts Assistant position is available on a full-time basis and will be based from our Deer Park office space with a hybrid split (3 days work from home and 2 days in-office).
The base pay rate for the role is based on the Health Professionals and Support Services award – support services level 6 of $30.64/hr or $60,536.74pa plus 12% superannuation.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Account reconciliation
* Accounts receivable / payable
* Liaison with Insurers, NDIS, TAC, Worksafe, Medicare etc.
* Third Party Payer database management
* Generate and distribute fortnightly therapist invoices
* Liaise directly with therapists to ensure invoicing and funding is correct
* Generation of therapy planning budgets
* Following up on accounts receivable / aging debtors
* Attending to account enquiries by phone or email
* Occasional cover of reception duties
On the job training will be provided.

* An interest in the medical/disability industry
* Solid experience with Microsoft 365 / Excel
* Prior medical administration or accounts experience advantageous
* NDIS/disability services experience even more advantageous
* Efficient multi-tasker
* Great communication skills
