Payroll Officer Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to process payroll for the organisation on a fortnightly basis.
Additional duties include responding to and resolving payroll queries from employees and management.
About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our payroll team as a Payroll Officer.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and casual staff, accurate data entry into the HRIS database, and interpreting Award and employee contracts.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 12 months experience in a payroll or accounts related field
* Demonstrated sound working knowledge of finance software systems
* Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Ability to respond to and resolve complex queries with internal and external stakeholders
* Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check clearance
* Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification or working towards
