I-MED Radiology is looking for a Medical Receptionist for a 12-month parental leave contract starting January **** at our busy clinic in Geraldton.
Full-time position Monday to Friday, 7:45 am–5 pm (45-minute lunch).
Longer days will operate on a 9-day fortnight.
Role Overview
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment and accurate registration.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures.
Answer emails and phone calls promptly and handle inquiries professionally.
Advise patients on preparation prior to relevant scans.
Handle billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers' compensation and DVA.
Collaborate with clerical and technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
Train as a contact-centre agent to assist as required: answer calls, multitask across platforms, manage appointment calendar.
What We're Looking For
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
Availability to work a Saturday shift every six weeks: either 9 am-12 pm or 8 am-11 am.
