About the role
The Y WA is recruiting an Early Childhood Teacher for the Newman Early Learning Centre.
We seek a passionate teacher with strong communication skills, a love for early childhood education and a commitment to building strong, genuine relationships with parents, staff and young children.
Responsibilities
Encourage and nurture children to grow socially and emotionally, instilling a love of learning through a variety of strategies and activities.
Develop and implement a program that meets the needs of individual children and reflects their interests, development, culture and the YMCA's Approach to Learning.
Liaise with and support parents in a friendly, non-judgemental, personal manner.
Maintain required developmental records of children as required by the Regulations, EYLF and the NQF.
Work under the 15% ECEC Worker Retention Payment.

Salary range: $85,****** to $117,****** + 12% Super.
Additional $6.52 per hour Remote Allowance (up to $12,714 per year).

Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education, or working toward an equivalent qualification.
Understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations ****, the EYLF and the NQF.
Experience developing and implementing early childhood programmes.
HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate.
National Police Clearance and Working with Children check.
Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre.
