I am partnering exclusively with a leading Australian financial services organisation to recruit a newly created Finance AI Delivery Lead position within their Finance Transformation team.
The business is investing heavily in AI, automation and workflow optimisation across Finance and is seeking someone who can help identify, build and deliver practical AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, reporting and operational performance, while playing a key role in shaping how AI and automation are embedded across the broader Finance operating model.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‐on delivery role suited to someone who enjoys building, testing and implementing AI and automation solutions within a Finance environment.
You will work across the full solution lifecycle, mapping processes through to building workflows, deploying solutions and driving adoption across the business, with a strong focus on AI orchestration, workflow automation, agent frameworks and process redesign initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities across Finance
* Partner with Finance stakeholders to assess pain points, workflows and operational inefficiencies
* Lead process mapping and workflow redesign initiatives
* Build and deploy AI-enabled workflows, automation solutions and Finance agents
* Support end‐to‐end delivery including solution design, testing, deployment and optimisation
* Develop workflow automation solutions using Microsoft technologies including Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse
* Support the development of agent frameworks and AI‐enabled workflows
* Design scalable automation processes with appropriate governance, controls and human‐in‐the‐loop decision making
* Partner with Technology and Data teams on integrations and enterprise solutions
* Troubleshoot workflow, automation and system issues while driving continuous improvement
* Create supporting documentation, governance frameworks and control processes
* Support AI governance, risk mitigation and auditability requirements
* Track efficiency gains, operational improvements and business outcomes
* Deliver stakeholder updates, demonstrations and training sessions
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Finance AI Framework and roadmap
About You
* Experience across Finance Transformation, Finance Systems, Automation or AI‐enabled process improvement
* Strong understanding of Finance operations including reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, forecasting and month‐end processes
* Exposure to AI orchestration, workflow automation, agent frameworks and AI‐enabled operational workflows
* Understanding of governance, controls and operational risk within AI and automation environments
* Ability to map processes, identify inefficiencies and design scalable operational solutions
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
* Experience operating within transformation or change environments
* Commercially pragmatic with a hands‐on delivery mindset
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving environments
* Curious and passionate about emerging AI capabilities and Finance innovation
