A great opportunity for a collections officer to join a national ASX listed company in Auburn!
3 month temporary position available with possible extension.
**Your new role**
- Process credit card payments
- Effectively manage a portfolio of clients to ensure debts are minimised and payment terms are adhered to
- Recovery of delinquent accounts
- Reconcile daily remittance advices and allocate funds paid
- Investigate and resolve account/ invoice related disputes in a timely manner
- Create/ assist in compilation of financial/ debtor/ risk reports as requested
- Provide coverage or assistance across divisions debt portfolios as necessary
- Process approved credits against invoices or account
- Submit payment schedule pursuant to the security of payment act (SoPA)
- Ensure that all debt recovery activity is compliant with relevant legislation
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum 3 years receivables and collections experience
- Sound knowledge of debt recovery legislation and processes
- MYOB experience
