About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering plumbing and gasfitting services across residential and Council assets, ensuring works meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance, installation, and repair of plumbing and gas systems
* Supporting new construction and refurbishment projects
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, BCA, and relevant regulations
* Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
* Working across community housing and Council facilities
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and safe work practices
* Supporting the Housing Team with general trade duties as required
About You
You are a qualified and experienced plumber/gasfitter who can work independently in a remote environment and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Plumbing
* Plumbing and Drainage Licence
* Gas Work Licence
* Construction White Card
* Strong knowledge of plumbing standards and compliance requirements
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Commitment to safety and quality
* Current Driver's Licence
Desirable
* Experience in remote or Local Government environments
* Additional high-risk licences or plant operation skills
