About the role:

MYMC are looking for a leader to manage our Afternoon Shift from Monday to Friday starting at 2pm till 10:06pm.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager or Head of Operations, this role is responsible for leading teams, ensuring KPI delivery, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

People:

* Manage logistics team rosters, timesheets (including MYMC and agency staff), and leave approvals.
* Oversee the performance and development of Supervisors and Team Leaders through regular check-ins, coaching, and formal reviews.
* Maintain and review the Skills Matrix to identify capability gaps and development needs across teams

Operations & Delivery:

* Oversee shift operations to ensure timely dispatch, accurate documentation, and efficient pallet movement across picking, packing, and line areas.
* Monitor and update EOD handovers and hourly reports to ensure alignment across teams and shifts.
* Ensure set KPIs are achieved and initiate improvements to increase productivity, reduce delays, and eliminate process inefficiencies.

Inventory, Data & Continuous Improvement:

* Maintain accuracy of finished goods stock, transit reports, and MR-35 documentation.
* Lead regular stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring all inventory data is captured correctly in ERP systems.
* Manage CHEP transfers, external orders, and invoice processing in line with operational policies.
* Maintain up-to-date data in ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365), databases, trackers, and systems to ensure accurate reporting.

Quality:

* Oversee completion and accuracy of HACCP monitoring forms and other quality documentation.
* Ensure all products meet safety and quality standards (e.g., 7–12 UBD), and support continuous compliance with food safety systems.
* Maintain site cleanliness, ensure equipment (e.g., tape machines) is clean and safe, and uphold standards of workplace hygiene.

Safety:

* Report all hazards, injuries, and near misses through the appropriate systems and complete monthly safety audits.
* Champion a strong WHS culture by identifying and rectifying safety hazards and process risks.
* Lead monthly safety audits and oversee hazard, injury, and near-miss reporting through the Enable system.
* Respond to and escalate equipment breakdowns, ensuring maintenance action is taken swiftly.

Skills & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
* Proven leadership experience in logistics or warehouse environments, including team supervision and process oversight.
* Experience within an FMCG + production environment (preferred)
* Strong understanding of inventory systems, KPI tracking, and dispatch functions in a high-volume setting.
* Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret operational reports and make informed decisions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365).
* Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of collaborating cross-functionally and leading through influence.
* Current Forklift Licence (preferred).
