Your role within the team In the position of Wellness Business Development Manager, you will drive commercial sales performance by achieving quarterly and annual targets, maintaining customer service standards, and promoting products in line with global brand guidelines. You will also lead wellness education initiatives across your territory, implementing technical training plans in collaboration with the Education team, delivering in-field sessions with key decision-makers, conducting in-store training, and hosting quarterly state-based events to strengthen product knowledge and capability. The territory for this role will be Western Sydney. Key responsibilities include: Commercial Sales Capability Deliver Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets Deliver on customer call coverage requirements and business agreed customer service level agreements Promoting products in line with Swisse global brand guidelines Wellness Training Capability Effectively implement a dynamic technical capability training plan across your designated territory in collaboration with the Education team. Deliver on in field training targets with key decision makers Manage and conduct in store training sessions with key stakeholders Deliver quarterly state-based education events Desired Skills & Experience We look for people who have what it takes to make an impact; who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting & ambitious results. To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: Proven success in territory management within Pharmaceutical, Naturopathy, Medical, or Health Food sales. Healthcare qualification with a Degree or Diploma in Health Science or Naturopathy, combined with a strong understanding of healthcare sales, clinical terminology, and relevant industry research. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop compelling business proposals and demonstrate commercial acumen, including return on investment analysis. Experience in account management of state-based groups, including promotional activity, presenting new product development (NPD), managing core range and planogram requirements, and negotiating co-op agreements (highly desirable but not essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Full Australian Driver’s Licence. Commercial & Strategic Insight - ability to understand P&L, articulate commercial strategy, and create proposals that drive growth. Product & Wellness Expertise - Deep knowledge of health and wellness categories, clinical evidence, and competitor insights to influence recommendations. Customer Engagement & Leadership - Build strong relationships, map decision-makers, collaborate cross-functionally, and present with impact using structured sales techniques. Innovation & Negotiation - apply bold thinking, analyse growth drivers, negotiate win-win outcomes, and lead through coaching and clear communication.
