Job Title: Fabrication and Installation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication and Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipework and irrigation equipment in our workshop and on client sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints of irrigation systems
* Perform welding on various metals and materials for the fabrication and repair of irrigation system components (e.g., pipes, fittings, supports, valves, etc.)
* Collaborate with project teams to assemble and install irrigation equipment and systems
* Maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials in good working order
* Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Demonstrated knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick
* Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Effective communication skills with the ability to work as a team
* Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
* MR or HR licence an advantage
* Forklift Licence an advantage
