Our Residential Care Team is seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to join our team as a Service Leader.
Job Description:
As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality residential care that meets the needs of each individual participant. You will work closely with families, participants, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure that each person receives tailored support that aligns with their goals and preferences.
You will coordinate staff rosters, support planning, medication, and daily operations to ensure that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will drive quality improvement initiatives, promote compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the development of new service models that meet the evolving needs of our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver outstanding residential care aligned to each individual's NDIS goals
* Coordinate staff rosters, support planning, medication, and daily operations
* Build trusted relationships with families, participants, and community stakeholders
* Drive quality, compliance, and service innovation
* Work across a 24-hour, seven-day roster (including sleepovers)
* Participate in the on-call roster (shared across the leadership team)
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a qualification in Disability, Community, or Health Services, along with significant experience in a leadership position. You will also need excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to inclusion, human rights, and participant choice.
Additionally, you will need to possess a collaborative style of leadership, with a focus on building strong relationships with your team and other stakeholders. A strong understanding of the NDIS and its associated policies and procedures is also essential.
