for motivated individuals ready to kickstart their careers in the signage and design industry.
Apprenticeships
Trainee Graphic Designer/Print Room Apprentice
Perfect for a school leaver with a creative spark, this role offers the chance to turn your design interest into a career.
You'll complete a
Certificate III in Prepress Graphic Design Production (ICP31420)
while learning on the job.
Responsibilities
Graphic design using CorelDRAW
Preparing files for print
Operating large format printers
Creating artwork for vehicle and boat wraps
Managing real-world print jobs and workflow
Design, fabricate, and install a variety of signs
Apply vinyl to vehicles, boats, and other surfaces
Operate digital printers and prepare wraps for application
Use tools and equipment safely, including at heights
Work collaboratively on detailed projects
Requirements
Is creative and detail-oriented
Has an interest in design, print, or signage
Is eager to learn and grow
Is currently completing Year 12 or recently graduated
Has a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
Can handle physical tasks such as lifting and assembling
Is dependable and has a robust work ethic
Works well in a team and takes initiative
Is willing to learn and build a trade skill set
