About Venues NSW
Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, and major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts across Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle, and Wollongong. The network hosts over 5 million visitors annually at more than 500 events and significantly contributes to the economy.
We adopt an integrated approach by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies, and community groups. Our extensive network allows us to leverage internal resources and a diverse skill set to deliver key projects and outstanding content.
About the Role
The new club features strength, cardio, and functional training zones, an outdoor training terrace, separate group fitness, mind-body, and cycle studios. It also includes an indoor 25m pool, outdoor 50m pool, spa, cold plunge, steam room, traditional sauna, infrared sauna rooms, an indoor/outdoor café, a day spa, golf simulator, and a child-minding facility for members and guests.
This role involves working closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure a premium experience for members and guests. You will need to work both collaboratively and independently, utilizing our swimming program framework to teach technique-based lessons.
About You
You should have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to coach and demonstrate correctly. Confidence and skills in interacting with children and parents are essential. A passion for working with children, nurturing confidence, and helping them improve their swimming abilities at all levels is crucial. You should be fun, flexible, and proactive.
Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, weekdays, and weekends.
Qualifications required:
* Swim Australia Teacher OR AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification or equivalent
* Current valid Working with Children Check
