We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Based at our North Sydney Support Office and reporting to the Head of Finance (ANZ), this role will play a pivotal part in organising, planning, and reporting financial transactions while coordinating budgeting processes across the business.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Lead month-end close process through Shared Services team and prepare accruals.
* Complete weekly revenue reconciliations
* Complete P&L reviews, and variance analysis to budget and last year
* Prepare and monitor rolling cash flow forecasts for corporate clinics
Compliance & Controls
* Review IAS/BAS submissions, annual FBT prepared by shared services.
* Review payroll tax, support dividend declarations, prepare quarterly distributions, and annual insurance allocations.
* Ensure integrity of financial systems and adherence to statutory and corporate policies.
Business Operations Support
* Support clinic sales, closures, funding requirements and Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Review and approve weekly payment runs across corporate clinics.
* Provide financial clarity and analysis to internal stakeholders.
* Mentor and develop the Assistant Accountant.
* Act as the key contact for third parties and franchisees.
* Drive process improvements and foster collaboration across Finance, Operations, and external partners.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Commerce.
* Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) registration (essential)
* Relevant experience across financial accounting, reporting, and analysis at a Senior Level.
* Experience with SAP Business One, TM1, and Xero.
* A strong commercial mindset with proven ability to partner with stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills – with the ability to multitask and troubleshoot.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus confidence in financial systems and reporting tools.
* Experience in the aesthetics, beauty, or retail industry (desirable but not essential).
* Knowledge of franchisor/franchisee models (a bonus).
