With a primarily ageing population, this welcoming service caters for all ages and backgrounds, with 15-minute standard consultation times offered and longer appointments available where necessary. Due to the associations with the local health service, along with joining the other GP’s in the clinic, there are GP VMO or ED doctors providing cover in the local hospital as well. Within the clinic itself, there is full nursing support including a chronic disease nurse. They would require 2 weeks of commitment as a minimum with various dates available from August onwards. On occasions you may be rostered to help out with one of the Aboriginal outreach clinics for one afternoon in the week.
