* This is a Clerk Grade 9/10 role with a salary range of $129,464 up to $142,665per annum plus superannuation
* Temporary opportunity (up to 12 months) in Sydney, NSW - hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs

About The Role
Leads the day-to-day operations of a team of compliance professionals responsible for a range of compliance-related activities and projects across liquor, gaming, wagering and casinos in order to support the achievement of regulatory objectives. The role also oversees the provision of timely, accurate information and support to customers and stakeholders and the maintenance of systems necessary to ensure accountability, consistency and transparency in compliance systems and determinations.

About You
You're a confident leader with proven experience in compliance within a complex regulatory and legislative environment, able to navigate sensitive and competing priorities while delivering results. As a leader, you're skilled at building capability in others, ensuring consistency and quality in compliance activities, and balancing high work volumes with the need for accuracy and thoroughness.
You will bring to the role:
* Considerable experience in coordinating high volume regulatory operations
* Demonstrated experience in compliance roles in a diverse regulatory/legislative setting.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You'll be part of a team that plays a critical role in safeguarding integrity in high-profile industries, working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Essential Requirements
* Appointment and ongoing assignment may be subject to restrictions and the satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant Legislation and/or related policies.
* The person occupying the role may be designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007, and may be subject to restrictions, such as restrictions on attending certain premises.
