YOUR NEW ROLE Reporting to an industry‑leading specialist partner and supported by a paralegal/junior lawyer, you will love resolving a full spectrum of intellectually stimulating and interesting disputes (Superior level & Land & Environment Courts) relating to:
All aspects of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation;
Development applications (DAs), complying DAs and exempt development.
Applications to amend LEPs and planning proposals;
Voluntary planning agreements and developer contributions.
Easements and access to land;
Land contamination, pollution, remediation and voluntary management proposals.
Directors’ duties and liabilities under planning and environment regulations;
Critical habitat and the operation of threatened species conservation legislation;
Site and environmental audits, due diligence and environmental impact assessment;
Regulatory compliance and enforcement;
Land and Environment Court applications and appeals.

WHO YOU ARE
Admitted as a solicitor in NSW;
Minimum 4 years or more hands‑on environmental/planning/local government law litigation experience (essential), preferably acting for applicants (developers/private entities);
Strong communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;
Practical, adaptable, commercial, deadline‑driven and results‑oriented;
