We are looking for a driven and experienced Production Manager Manufacturing to join our team in SWAN HILL, Victoria. This full-time role will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager in overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe and high-quality production.
What you'll be doing
- Assist the State Manager in planning, scheduling and monitoring production workflows to maximise productivity and meet customer demand
- Implement and monitor process improvements to boost efficiency and quality
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including supervision of production staff
- Ensure all production activities adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations
- Analyse production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement
- Provide support and training to production team members to develop their skills
- Collaborate with other departments to align manufacturing activities with business objectives
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a similar Assistant Production Manager or manufacturing supervisory role
- Solid understanding of production planning, process improvement and inventory management principles
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
