Sous Chef
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and cook food to top quality
* Keep an organised and efficient kitchen environment
* Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures are maintained
* Inventory management
* Rostering
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
* Knowledgable of kitchen operations (e.g. food preparation, rostering, ordering, inventory management)
* Comprehensive understanding of food, health and workplace health and safety
* Ability to work across a 7-day roster
Permanent Part-Time Position. Min. 20 Hours, Afternoon and Evening Work, Wednesday-Sunday
Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean kitchen, wash and sort all dishes
* Organisation and preparation of food as required by head chef
* Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations
Qualifications and experience
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* 2 years experience preferred, but not required
* Food safety certificate or willing to obtain
* Ability to work across a 7-day roster
Casual Chef
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and cook food to top quality
* Help senior staff and keep kitchen organised and efficient
* Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures
* Restocking inventory as needed
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 2 years in kitchen experience as a qualified or apprentice chef
* Food safety certificate or willing to obtain
* Ability to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings
