Quantitative Ecologist Position
We are seeking a quantitative ecologist to contribute to projects on flow-ecology relationships and habitat suitability modelling for freshwater organisms.
* A PhD or equivalent qualifications or research experience is required.
* Prior experience in statistical and quantitative modelling, including the use of R for ecological modelling with spatial datasets, is essential.
* You should have a demonstrated ability to supervise or co-supervise Honours, Masters and/or PhD students.
* A record of publications, conference papers and/or reports is highly desirable.
* Sound analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively are necessary.
The successful candidate will work within a research centre at La Trobe University, which delivers basic and applied research to support sustainable ecosystem management.
