**You are**:
- A dedicated guardian and leader in terms of day-to-day maintenance and engineering tasks
- An ace when it comes to safe and effective planning for maintenance of equipment
- A natural leader, who enjoys mentoring and coaching your team in terms of risk management, direction of duties, scheduling the team and upholding the company values
- Great at liaising with all the important stakeholders to ensure that maintenance and production schedules go hand-in-hand to ensure seamless operation; whilst at the same time being adept at managing costs in line with budget!
- Keen to develop your strong leadership skills to drive a culture that promotes a collaborative teams driven approach to performance
**The role**:
- Permanent full-time Maintenance Supervisor, based at the Galong processing plant and quarry
- Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead and support a multi-discipline maintenance team to safely achieve high equipment availability and asset utilization for the processing fixed plant, the equipment and the mobile mining through use of the company Maintenance Excellence program
- The site is a short drive from Yass, Young and Harden in the Hilltops Council regional area of NSW, with easy access to Canberra and Sydney
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or trades, with substantial team management experience and enthusiasm for working in a collegial cross-functional manner
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cement, Lime, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry is highly regarded
- A strong knowledge of quality, engineering standards and government regulations would be an advantage.
- Experience in leading and guiding a team of maintenance professionals and trades people within over-arching Maintenance Excellence frameworks supported regionally and internationally
