About the Role
As a Guidance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students' personal, emotional, and academic development. You will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external providers to deliver a holistic and proactive approach to student wellbeing.
Your Responsibilities
As the Guidance Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Providing counselling, assessment, case management, and referral services to support students' educational and emotional needs
* Implementing proactive wellbeing initiatives and early intervention programs
* Supporting career development and SET planning
* Collaborating within a multidisciplinary support team to develop individualised student support plans
* Supporting school-wide initiatives in behaviour management, mental health, and student protection
