Renewable Energy Zone Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Engineer to lead the review of civil infrastructure designs across the REZ, including roads, drainage, intersections, and related structures.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in road, drainage, and structural design, as well as development assessments within the NSW local government context.
They should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, including developers and neighboring councils, ensuring infrastructure projects align with community needs and comply with legislation.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead the review of civil infrastructure designs across the REZ.
* Assess pre-approval documents for State Significant Developments within the MWRC area, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Review post-approval documents to ensure adherence to approval conditions.
* Ensure development proposals and approvals comply with legislation and Council standards.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and community expectations.
