The Opportunity
We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to partner closely with the State Leadership team and play a key role in driving profitable growth, disciplined investment and commercial excellence.
In this role, you will be the bridge between local operations and Group Finance, ensuring decisions made locally align with enterprise-wide financial objectives, governance standards and value creation goals. What You Will Do
In this role, you will provide commercial leadership and strategic financial support to State leadership, partnering closely with regional and corporate teams to drive performance, shape commercial outcomes and enable strong governance. You will:
* Act as a trusted commercial and financial partner to State leadership, translating corporate objectives into locally relevant strategies and influencing high‑quality decision‑making.
* Lead the State’s financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning, supported by strong performance insights and commercial analysis.
* Drive commercial excellence by supporting negotiations, capital requests and business cases that shape growth.
* Strengthen governance and risk management, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, controls and approval frameworks while proactively identifying risk.
* Champion cross‑functional collaboration, acting as a key interface between State leadership and Corporate Finance, and partnering across Sales, Operations, Legal and Supply Chain.
* Build capability across the region, coaching teams on value‑based decision‑making and fostering a collaborative One‑Team culture.
About You
You bring experience partnering with operational teams in a commercial or finance role, ideally across large‑scale or multi‑site environments. You thrive in a role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, sound judgement and the ability to balance regional realities with enterprise‑wide financial objectives.
Experience and Skills That Count
* Senior finance or commercial experience within large, complex environments.
* Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and business case development capability.
* Proven ability to partner with non‑finance stakeholders in operational settings.
* Experience supporting capital investment processes.
* Understanding of risk, compliance, governance and controls frameworks.
* Ability to operate horizontally across functions and influence without authority.
