The future is bright, offering endless opportunities to Grow with Lindsay's.The Role:As our rural merchandise Sales Representative at our Coffs Harbour branch, you will develop long term partnerships with our customers through anticipating their needs and providing win/win solutions.You will be responsible for the generation of sales of cartons, seed, fertilizer, ag chemicals in various agricultural crops, along with seasonal forecasting.This position is on the road covering the regions of Coffs Harbour, Macksville and Woolgoolga.Your main responsibilities will include:Actively pursue new business opportunities on farm whilst maintaining and servicing the current customer base.Meet financial sales targets and KPIs.Keeping up to date with the industry, competition, and products available.Participate in trade shows and conventions.Knowledge of costs and mark-ups to ensure profitability but also providing flexibility for customers.Counter and store sales & service as required.Delivery of merchandise.Assisting with the day-to-day retail operations of the branch, within budget parameters to achieve profit objectives.About You:You are a confident communicator and a self-starter who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people, and building lasting relationships.
You will be able to demonstrate:Proven sales experience, ideally in the rural sector.Exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills.The motivation and ability to seek new sales opportunities.Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner with an ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce.The ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.A current & valid Driver's licence.
