Senior Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager
Our esteemed organisation is seeking a seasoned Service Manager to lead a skilled team of approximately 10 in the heavy vehicle industry. This critical management role drives profitability, operational efficiency, and maintains supreme workmanship and customer care for key fleet and heavy vehicle clients.
* Lead and mentor a dedicated workshop team.
* Drive department profitability and achieve business objectives.
* Ensure minimal Work-In-Progress (W.I.P) and control warranty processes.
* Maximise technician performance and manage training compliance.
* Maintain exceptional safety standards and efficient workshop flow.
* Proven experience in a senior post-trade or managerial role.
* Solid technical background and knowledge in heavy vehicle mechanics.
* Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer and staff relations.
* High-level organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Previous exposure to Trucks in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous. Candidates with experience in brands such as Kenworth, Volvo, Western Star, MAN, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Fuso, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Scania, Freightliner or similar are encouraged to apply.
