We are seeking a passionate Full-time Pharmacist to join our team at Capital Chemist O'Connor in Canberra. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and health services to our patients and supporting the overall operations of our thriving community pharmacy.
Key responsibilities
* Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with relevant regulations
* Provide personalised and professional pharmaceutical advice to patients, offering guidance on medication use, side effects, and overall health management
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs and specialists, to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
* Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
* Actively participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
* Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
* Support pharmacy technicians and other team members, contributing to the overall development of the pharmacy
What we're looking for
* Registered Pharmacist with a current AHPRA registration
* Strong clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A passion for providing exceptional patient-centred care and contributing to the growth and success of the pharmacy
